Ariel Halperin
Dr. Ariel Halperin has spent his career managing business, finance and investment deals. He conducted, as a trustee for the major Israeli Banks and the Kibbutzim, a comprehensive financial program involving numerous transactions to settle an aggregate debt of more than U.S. $6 billion. In the process, Halperin developed a unique combination of expertise and ties with the banking system and with the Kibbutzim industries. He is the controlling shareholder of Tenram Investments which focuses on finance management and real estate development projects. He is a General Partner in Tenne Investments - a private equity fund dedicated to investment in Kibbutzim industries. During 2005 Tenne has made 5 investments totaling about $75 million. Halperin holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Hebrew University and did a post doctoral work in finance at M.I.T. Halperin is a Lt. Colonel (res.) in the IDF and served on the Israeli National Security Committee.
